Garik,
Unfortunately, I don't have many answers for you. My guess is that this
machine has an expansion card installed in it to give you the extra styles.
What I don't know is how to use those styles. Maybe someone else in this
group has a style card that can answer those questions. I have always
wanted a style card for my Korg I3, so if anyone knows how to obtain one of
these, I'd be interested in purchasing. I wasn't aware that any were
available.
As far as your floppy is concerned, I would guess that some of your disks
are formatted as High Density and the others as Low Density. One or the
other type of format is not recognized by your instrument. I wasn't aware
that the instrument had any upgrade capability to HD floppies. My advice
is to get both types of floppies formatted as two different ways on a
computer and then see which one works in your Korg.
You can take the disks which are of the wrong format and then transfer the
data to the proper formatted disks.
Good luck. I hope someone else can answer the question about your styles.
Best regards,
Rob
